Bracelet Holder!!!!

Hello Girls!!!
So if you have a problem keeping the top of your dresser clean and organized... ( LIKE ME ) Here is a great idea to help clean up some of the clutter!!! Now all those awesome summer bracelets are about to have their very own place!! A BRACELET HOLDER!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
All You Need Is....
1. A wooden box ( any size you want! Mine was a medium sized)
2. Paint ( acrylic paint or craft paint will work from your local crafts store )
3. two glass bottles ( i used two glass coke bottles )
4. a hot glue gun
5. some ribbon ( to hang with )

Basically all you do is paint your box however you want to! Then You will hot glue the bottom of the glasses REALLY WELL and glue it to the inside of the boxes. Then on the back of the box find a little spot and hot glue two ends of ribbon to use as a hanger ( you can use a staple gun also I just don't own one! ) And TA DA!!! You got yourself a creative and unique bracelet holder!!!
Hope you enjoyed it!!

DIY Headbands!!!

Hello Everyone!!!!!!!!!! So you know about those really cute and trendy headbands that are stretchy on the bottom and have cute colors and can be big or small on the top??? Well I bought one at Ron Jon Surf Shop for $5.00 and  LOVE IT!! But NOW I can make them!!! And YOU CAN TOO!!!!!
Basically all you need is...
1. Fabric of any kind
2. fabric scissors ( regular ones do not seem to cut as well)
4. some elastic band(s)
3. a needle and some thread ( color is your preference)

SORRY I DON'T HAVE PICTURES STEP BY STEP ON THIS BUT ITS PRETTY SIMPLE!!!

1. The first thing you will do is cut your fabric. Me and my friend Sarah cut ours in a rectangle, a "7by 14"inch piece. This will be the piece that goes over your head.
2. using your needle and thread, sew the 2 ends of that piece of fabric individually.
( we folded ours over one from the left and right to meet in the middle and make it easier to sew). Start by sewing from the bottom through the top and back through the bottom. And just sew however you want and as long as you want until you think your stitching will hold. You should have 2 SEPARATE ends that are sewed.
3. Now your elastic is the tricky part. I cut mine at about 10 inches which was a tad big so feel free to try 7 inches of elastic. Cut it. take whatever leftover fabric you have to use for this part ( IF YOU WANT, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PUT FABRIC AROUND YOUR ELASTIC!!!). Now stretch out your elastic to measure how much fabric you need and cut it. I think me and my friend just used the same "7 by 14" rectangle for this part too. Now sew through the elastic and fabric on ONE side. Once you finished that this is where it gets hard. You need to STRETCH OUT the elastic with the fabric and sew down the WHOLE THING!! Me and my friend held each other's so you might want to have some help close!!! One you have sewn down to the bottom and secured it now your ALMOST DONE!!
4. Take your newly fabric-sewn elastic and sew one end to the headband part. Now stretch out the elastic and sew the other end to the last part of the headband. NOW YOUR DONE!!
5. PUT YOUR HEADBAND ON TO MAKE SURE IT FITS YOUR HEAD!!! hopefully it does!!! If it doesn't ( WHICH HAPPENED TO ME SO ITS OK!) Just grab some more elastic and add it on!! Hopefully you nail it the first time!!!

HOPE YOU MAKE PLENTY OF HEADBANDS SUCCESSFULLY!!!!!!!!
